On 2 May 2026, Rock around the Church celebrated its 20+1 anniversary with a concert at the Eichede Church, Germany. Founded by Andis Paegle as a youth band more than two decades ago, the project has grown into a lasting musical community, with many of its original members still performing together today.

The anniversary programme featured a selection of well-known rock, pop and folk songs alongside solo performances by members of the ensemble. The concert reflected the project’s enduring spirit of collaboration and its commitment to bringing generations of musicians and audiences together through live music.
